The Cannes Film Festival 2023 has turned out to be a largescale debut show for celebrities from around the world. After Mrunal Thakur and Dua Lipa made their big red carpet debuts at Cannes 2023, Gigi Hadid has also followed suit. The supermodel attended the movie premiere of provocateur( Le Jeu De La Reine) while wearing a cappuccino- coloured structured Zac Posen gown on the red carpet. The strapless number, from his 2014 Paris Fashion Week collection, featured a structured peplum-esque midriff leading to a slightly burned mermaid style. 

Gigi wore Messika jewellery in the form of a petal- suchlike diamond dog collar choker and cuff, multiple rings and earrings. With her golden hair in big ringlets, Gigi's sand girl makeup look continued with neutral lips and bronzed skin. But there was further of a backstory to it rather than it just being a gorgeous red carpet outfit. Gigi's Cannes debut was inspired by none other than her family Bella Hadid. 

 In 2018, Bella wore a Jean Paul Gaultier gown in a stunning shade of pink. It also came in a strapless style with a structured midriff leading to a mermaid figure over the length. She wore it with her black cinches in a satiny bun and hanging diamond earrings. Bella's Jean Paul gown belonged to the developer's fall downtime 2006 couture collection, which Gigi's Zac Posen gown was inspired by. In this case of two stylishly dressed sisters, one can always look to the other for alleviation, indeed at Cannes.
